Join us for the first Minnesota Goat School^®! This event will be hosted by Matthew and Elizabeth Pendergast at North Country Farm, Littlefork, Minnesota, just 30 miles from International Falls.  This promises to be a great goat experience.

Matthew and Elizabeth traveled to Stony Knolls Farm, Saint Albans, Maine to attend the Spring 2012 Goat School. They found the experience so enjoyable and the information so useful, that they want to make it available in their part of the country!

Topics for this Goat School® will include choosing your new goat, management, breeding, kidding, medical problems, nutrition, hoof trimming, milking, tattooing, necessary paperwork, record keeping, and a special segment on emergencies! We will cover numerous aspects of raising goats for meat, fiber and dairy and much, much more.

A milking demonstration will be done on Saturday around

4:00 p.m. for any one wanting to stay a little longer.

Saturday June 22nd and Sunday June 23rd
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday
AND, a Soap & Cheese Class on Monday June 24th starting at 9:30!

A buffet lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday along with breakfast on Sunday morning.

 A copy of Goat School, The Manual is also included!
